Florissant Elks Lodge 2316
Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, meet the needs of today’s veterans, and improve the quality of life.
The mission of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Drug Awareness Program is to promote constructive and cooperative approaches to the prevention of the use of illicit substances by the youth of the United States of America.
This is accomplished through education of students and parents, and by assisting scholastic institutions with programs and materials.
PROGRAM GOALS:
- Conduct conferences, workshops, and training seminars to promote an understanding of substance abuse.
- To provide a vision and practical skills needed to help prevent substance abuse.
- To develop, collect, and circulate resources on substance abuse, including curriculum, manuals, articles, and other materials
