Foeller, March 5th, 6:30pm at 699 rue St. Francois (sidewalk) and then immediately following the dedication for our monthly Member Meeting at the Old Town Wedding Chapel (across the street from dedication). Phil’s daughter Kathy Thieme will come to our meeting and tell us all about Phil and his love for Florissant. EVERYONE is welcome at the member meetings.
Phil Foeller’s grandparents were one of the original German Families who established the Sacred Heart Church. Phil grew up on Jefferson Street directly across from the church and attended school there. Phil was a life-long community-oriented resident and businessman of Florissant. He and his wife Rose Marie raised five children in Old Town and founded Florissant Auto Radiator still at 865 N. Lafayette. Phil was a United States Army Veteran, he was the 1979 Chamber President, the 1980 Sacred Heart Man of the Year and was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Duchesne Council #2951.
