Florissant Old Town Partners invites anyone who loves our community to apply for mini-grant funding with a special focus – we’re looking for ideas that create projects, programs, events or improvements to the Historic Old Town Florissant District that promote families, friendship and community . We will award one grant to a project that is welcoming, inclusive, and creates new opportunities for people to come together, make new friends, learn new things, or celebrate the rich history and diversity of our community.
The possibilities are endless!
One grant of up to $500 will be awarded for a project that promotes the Historic Old Town Florissant District. Submitted programs/projects must be for the benefit of the Old Town area and not for personal or business benefit. Grant dollars awarded are to be used to complete the proposed project. This includes a new program or an expansion of an already existing project.
Any nonprofit organization, business or individual is eligible to apply. Only one application per nonprofit, business or individual, please!
Email the following items to Florissant Old Town Partners at email@example.com by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2020.
- Completed application including 300 character project description
- A photo or illustration depicting your project (.jpg format)
EXAMPLES: Mural on a building, other art, neighborhood event, creative use of an open space etc.
All grant application entries become the property of Florissant Old Town Partners. Each application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors to ensure it meets the grant guidelines. The top three proposals will be voted on by the public via the Organization’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/OldTownPartners. Old Town Partners will post the project description and photo/illustration depicting each project. Each “like” received for that project will count as one (1) vote, so encourage your supporters to follow the Old Town Partners and be sure to “like” your photo. The project with the most “likes” on that page (not on shared posts) will receive funding.
Talk about your project on your own Facebook page or other social media and be sure to use the hashtag #LoveOldTownFlo in your posts!
The winning applicant will be asked to provide a more detailed one-page project description and project budget. The winning project must be completed on or before October 10, 2020.
