We are a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the historic charm of Old Town Florissant, supporting small business, & hosting annual signature festivals & events.

Florissant Old Town Partners was incorporated August 26, 1996, under the not-for-profit Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code by a group of people representing citizens, businesses and government who believe that Old Town Florissant is an attractive area where persons experience a stable, healthy community with a rich cultural heritage.

FOTP’s goals are to work to:

  • Promote cultural diversity.
  • Promote neighborhood harmony.
  • Combat neighborhood deterioration through economic development compatible with the history of the area.
  • Work with other organizations of similar purpose.

Through our all volunteer membership, and other fund raising, we are able to provide so much for our community.

Support from The City of Florissant, businesses, non-profits and residents in the Florissant area helps us bring creative events and improvements to keep the Historic Old Town community proud.  We work together with Old St. Ferdinand Shrine, Rotary Club, Valley of Flowers, Knights of Columbus, VFW Post 4105, Greater North County Chamber of Commerce, Historic Florissant, Inc and many other organizations and businesses.

  • Great family community events and festivals
  • Special shopping promotions to support the small businesses located in Old Town Florissant
  • Improvements to the historic district like planting flowers, painting murals and crosswalks
  • Maintain The Girardier House, an 1860’s French farmhouse which is home to our office.

Our office located at 601 rue St. Charles is an 1860’s French farmhouse which was moved to the current location from rue St. Catherine in 1982.  Lowell Girardier, a local builder, was developing the property on St. Catherine and donated the house to Florissant Old Town Partners so this historic house would be enjoyed by many in the future.
